“What is wrong, we must make right”

On May 10, 2007, five Percy L. Julian High School students were shot as they rode a CTA bus after school. One of them, Blair Holt, died from his injuries. Disbelief and outrage enveloped the city of Chicago and touched the hearts of people around the world. TV Broadcast Technology students at Julian had a vision and decided to do their part. They brainstormed, collaborated and created “Peace Day 2012” to address the root causes of youth violence and to explore ways to combat it. (click to read more)

ACCELERATION LABS OPEN AT JULIAN
The Acceleration Lab strategy is funded by the School Improvement Grant awarded to transform Percy L. Julian High School. Students will focus on College Readiness Reading and Mathematics Standards. Students will learn in small group settings, enriched with technology. Go JAGUARS!
